'Guy has zero game': Single dude gets roasted for filming himself trying to meet a partner 'naturally' in public

Ask any single person who is looking for a relationship what the dating scene is like right now, and you will get the same answer from each and every one: it's a jungle out there. Dating apps have never been more full of desperate weirdos, players, or worst of all, those people who exchange two messages with you and then seem to drop off the face of the earth. At the same time, it feels like most of us have forgotten how to approach those we are interested in without the jumpstart from the tiny screens we keep in our pockets. It's a big old mess.

As a result, it's no surprise that some of those looking for love are trying alternative methods in the hopes of scoring their dream partner. There are normal ways to do this—Go to a dating event! Take up a social hobby!— but one TikToker has been catching heat for eschewing these in favor of being weird for the views. Filming himself hanging around in public places in the hopes of getting the perfect meet cute, his methods did not impress the internet. At this point, he would probably have more luck on Hinge.

Don't go there to mac. Do the hobby in earnest, make friendships, and read the room. Be a person.
